Started solving recreational boating´s environmental problem in antifouling in 2020 by founding BNG Palvelut Oy of which mission is the clean the oceans boat by boat. Antifouling paints are problematic for the environment and for the boaters. Paints are toxic and full of microplastics which end up to our water system. Paints are more and more regulated which makes them ineffective. Dirty boat hull increases fuel consumption, which multiplies CO2 emissions and acidifies waters.
